Bio
Luca Irvin was raised in Encinitas, California by his single mother, Gia. His love for performance began with his first stage role in Oliver Twist at the Star Theater in Oceanside, an experience that revealed why acting was so special to him. At La Costa Canyon High School, he balanced athletics and the arts, playing football, singing and playing guitar in an alternative rock band, and performing in multiple musical theater productions.
He went on to MiraCosta College intending to study Communications, but after taking a scene study class with Eric Bishop, Luca discovered his true calling. In October 2019, he left that path behind and moved to Los Angeles, where he trained in scene study, commercial work, voice-over, and improv at Shanelle Gray Studios under the mentorship of Taymour Ghazi. Early opportunities came through background work before he earned his first supporting role in the short film Deep In The Shallows for the Los Angeles 48-Hour Film Festival, which soon led to more supporting and lead roles in short films, web series, and mini-TV projects.
While acting in the upcoming feature film Flash Point, Luca began writing his own short film, The Day Is Young. Determined to bring it to life, he founded Irvin Film Studios LLC, which produced the project. On August 28, 2025, the film premiered at the NoHo CineFest in Los Angeles, where Luca was nominated for Best Actor.
He continues to pursue his passion with the same drive that began on stage years ago—auditioning for new roles, writing original stories, and leading his production company toward bold and meaningful work.
